LESSON PAINTINGS

These paintings were completed as part of online lessons with Welsh artist Michael James Smith, whose teaching has had an important influence on the development of my painting techniques. While Michael’s work is highly detailed and photorealistic, I’ve taken many of the techniques I’ve learned through his instruction and gradually adapted them to my own way of painting.
